The most important thing I have to say today is this: the NFL returns in two weeks from today. That's the intro.
This Week's Round-Up
Americans Are Keeping The Side Hustle Alive In Pursuit Of A New ‘American Dream’
Developing multiple streams of income is a very modern idea. The idea of income outside of a person's trade would be foreign to humanity over 100-200 years ago. The term "side hustle" originated in the 1950's recession, and has only become apart of the everyday language since then. However, looking ahead, it's hard to see a world in which most people don't rely on some form of side hustle to make ends meet or to achieve their lifestyle of choice. Is maintaining these side income streams the only way for people in today's world to achieve the "American Dream?"
5 Budgeting Tricks You Won’t Believe Actually Work
Feeling like re-evaluating your budget and figuring out how to slim some things down to put more away as savings/investments? This article outlines some good reminders for how to approach budgeting that might be obvious to some, but is alwaus
This 30-year-old makes $114,000 a month in passive income: ‘4 businesses you can start today for $99 or less’
Young guy. Simple business models. Great article. I'm always skeptical when a mainstream outlet picks up one of these stories about "passive income," but I found it interesting to see some of the business models I've seen acquaintances online make work. There's money everywhere: go find it.

Okay, this isn't an article. But check out this tweet. People are out there working multiple full-time jobs from home. I'd be doing it myself if it weren't for the obvious ethical issues...
Idea of the Week - Affiliate Marketing
If you've ever heard or played around with Amway or similar companies, you already have an idea of what affiliate marketing entails. You simply sell other people's products for them and take a cut of the proceeds. Have you ever purchased a course on Gumroad? You can ask the creator to send you an affiliate link and start promoting their content for them, and get 20-50% of the purchase price every time someone buys. Have a large network of people who trust you? Find a product, service, or platform that you love (think CashApp, Robinhood, or Rakuten) and sign as many people up as possible and bank all those sign-up bonuses. People make thousands per year with these types of bonuses, and you can too.
The awesome thing about this side hustle is the lack of infrastructure you need to get started. All you need is a few people who will listen, or a social media audience.
Psst...see that link for KickFlips down below? That's an affiliate link.
Podcast of the Week - Buy Box Bandits
I've been focusing on ramping up my Amazon sales this month, and no small part of this is due to the Buy Box Bandits podcast. These guys are relatable and laid-back, with down to earth advice on how to sell on Amazon. They discuss everything from FBA, FBM, wholesaling, and private label sales. If you don't know what any of those things mean but you're curious about e-commerce, give them a listen.
